Most modern yoga focuses on the body. Classical Hatha — rooted in the Bihar School of Yoga and the Himalayan tradition — goes deeper. It uses posture, breath, and awareness together to unlock states of calm and clarity that no amount of stretching alone can provide. This is a rare opportunity to learn the practice as it was always meant to be taught.
You leave the class feeling stretched. But not settled.
The tension returns within hours. The mental chatter doesn’t stop. And “stillness” feels like something only monks can access. This isn’t your fault. It’s a gap in how yoga is being taught today.
Classical yoga creates space beyond exercise — for calm, clarity and restoration.
Each weekend builds purposefully on the last. Two hours on Saturday, two hours on Sunday — unhurried, immersive, and guided with the precision of 25 years of classical training.
We begin where yoga always begins — in the body. You’ll learn to find effortlessness within postures using the principle of Sthira Sukham: strength that doesn’t tighten, and ease that doesn’t collapse. Spinal tension releases. Postural intelligence awakens. Your body begins to feel like home.
The ancient yogis knew the secret modern neuroscience now confirms: the breath directly governs the nervous system. In weekend two, we use classical pranayama practices to interrupt the cycle of overthinking and anxiety. You’ll learn to shift your internal state deliberately — with just your breath.
Hatha Yoga’s deepest purpose is to prepare you for meditation — not force it. By weekend three, your body is open, your breath is steady, and stillness arrives naturally. We integrate all three dimensions: body, breath, and awareness converge into a single, seamless experience of presence.

6-Days Immersion
Not at all. This series is specifically designed to welcome complete beginners while offering genuine depth to experienced practitioners. The classical approach is methodical, safe, and accessible at every level.
Each session follows a complete classical structure: a warm-up and asana sequence, pranayama practice, a philosophical teaching from the yogic texts, and a full Yoga Nidra session. You also receive a short home practice to carry through the week.
We understand life happens. Online participants will have access to session recordings. In-studio participants who miss a session are welcome to attend an equivalent class at the studio to maintain continuity.
Classical Hatha Yoga follows the Bihar School tradition, which treats asana (posture), pranayama (breathwork), and dhyana (meditation) as an integrated science — not separate disciplines. Most modern yoga studios focus almost entirely on the physical postures. This series restores the complete system, including the mental and energetic dimensions that produce lasting wellbeing.
Lifestyle Yoga World is located on the 4th Floor of Shangri-La Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai — one of the most iconic wellness locations in the city.
