Day 1: Desert Serenity Retreat

Session 1: Sunset Yin Yoga
What a way to start the Desert Yoga Retreat with a 60 minute Yin Yoga session.
Yin yoga is for the joints more so than the other yoga practises that target the muscles as the stretches in Yin Yoga go deep into the connective tissue, ligaments, bones and joints.
If you are a beginner you will love Yin Yoga as it is slow moving and many of the moves are done whilst on the floor with props such as bolsters and blocks to assist you into the best position possible.

Session 2: Breathwork & Trataka or Sun Ghazing Meditation
The breath is the bridge linking our mind and body. The practice of deep breathing helps to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system, bringing us to a calm state.

Session 3: C
Nadabrahma Meditation is a powerful practice that uses sound and gentle movement to bring harmony between body, mind, and spirit. Through humming and simple hand gestures, the meditation creates inner balance, releases stored tension, and allows energy to flow freely. As the mind becomes quiet, participants experience deep relaxation, centeredness, and a natural sense of peace.
This practice is especially supportive in a retreat setting, where the stillness of the desert enhances its calming and transformative effects. Suitable for all levels, Nadabrahma invites you to reconnect with your inner rhythm and align with a state of wholeness.

Sound Healing & Yoga Nidra Under the Stars
Immerse yourself in a deeply restorative evening where sound and stillness meet. Gentle sound vibrations from singing bowls and other instruments guide the mind into calmness, while Yoga Nidra, the yogic sleep practice, takes you into a state of profound relaxation and inner awareness.
Beneath the desert night sky, this experience invites you to release tension, restore energy, and connect with the quiet expansiveness within and around you.
Day 2: Desert Serenity Retreat

Sunrise Yoga Flow, Pranayama & Dhyana
Traditionally, Yoga was practised at or just before sunrise, as a way to greet the sun and to welcome a new day.By being aware of the rhythms of the world and practising yoga as the sun rises, we tap into our own natural rhythms.Many of us are so caught up in the world of technology and work that we forget we too are a part of nature; and this morning routine is a reminder of our natural state of being.

Mindful Walk
Walking is a daily activity, much like breathing, that we often perform without giving it much consideration. Incorporating mindfulness into our walking routine offers the advantage of merging mental and physical exercises. Numerous studies have demonstrated that a leisurely 20-minute walk can alleviate mild depression, anxiety, and improve focus, all while enhancing our physical well-being. Especially in times when outdoor activities are essential for maintaining our mental health, such as during periods of lockdown, prioritizing our well-being becomes paramount.
