CHAKRA BREATHING MEDITATION

Chakra Breathing Meditation is a practice that involves deep, rapid breathing and body movement to open and bring awareness to each of the seven chakras, which in turn rejuvenates your life.

The tools to open these chakras include energising music and the use of the singing bowl. This meditation is best done on an empty stomach or there should be at least 4-hours gap between your meal and the practice.

This Chakra Breathing Meditation is a 45 minutes’ session and is divided into 3 stages:

  • Stage 1: Body movement to awaken the energy
  • Stage 2: Guided breathing into the Chakras
  • Stage 3: Silence & Experience

If you are not familiar with the Chakra system, we suggest that you sign up for a few sessions of the Chakra Yoga Flow class to get an understanding of these energy centres.

CHIDAKASHA DHARNA

Chidakasha Dharna means the “Space of Consciousness”. It is considered to be the viewing screen of the Third Eye or traditionally known as the “Agya Chakra”, where the psychic phenomena manifests for the benefit of the physical mind. It is the link between conscious, subconscious and superconscious.

Chidakasha Dharna is a meditation technique which helps to unlock the gates to the secret realms of awareness, the stage of the mind and stage of consciousness which are beyond our mortal sight.

This Chidakasha Dharna sessions is divided into 5 stages:

  • Stage 1: Body awareness and stillness
  • Stage 2: Breath awareness
  • Stage 3: The Space of Chidakasha (Consciousness)
  • Stage 4: Perception of Colour
  • Stage 5: Ending practice

It is believed that the one who perfects this ancient practice, achieves light and wisdom.

TRATAKA & ANTAR TRATAKA

Trataka means ‘to gaze steadily’. The practice of Trataka is known to be the best technique to develop the mind of a Yogi.

There are 2 types of Trataka practice: Bahir and Antar Trataka. Bahir (or external Trataka) is the practice to focus on an outer object, whereas Antar Trataka is based on inner visualisation.

Trataka helps to develop the power of concentration as the energy is diverted at one point throughout the practice. Regular practice of Trataka automatically leads you to state of meditation.

Benefits:

  • Develops concentration power and memory.
  • Strengthens the eye muscles.
  • Trains the mind to be focused.
  • Trataka helps opening the energy in the Third Eye, namely Agya Chakra.

Antar Mouna Meditation

A Sanskrit word, Mouna means ‘silence’, and Antar Mouna means ‘inner silence’.

This meditation practice helps to make one aware of their inner silence. Antar Mouna is one of the practices that can become the norm of your daily life as it is the first step towards attaining the permanent state of inner understanding.

This method of meditation is divided into a number of stages, where it goes through a systematic training of the awareness process – practitioners are taught how to train the mind and how to bring it under control.

Antar Mauna Meditation is a 45 minutes’ session and is divided into 5 stages:

  • Stage 1: Setting up the Asana
  • Stage 2: Awareness on external
  • Stage 3: Awareness on Thought process
  • Stage 4: Will to create and disposal of thought
  • Stage 5: Awareness on spontaneous through
  • Stage 6: Experience on Inner Silence

Yin Yoga

Most forms of yoga today are dynamic, active practices designed to work only half of the body, the muscular half, the “Yang” tissues. Yin Yoga allows us to work the other half, the deeper “Yin” tissues of our ligaments, joints, deep fascial networks, and even our bones. All of our tissue are important and need to be exercised so that we can achieve optimal health and vitality.

This style of Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (vs. the superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body; Yin Yoga is to help regulate the flow of energy in the body. Yin Yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone; offering much deeper access to the body.

Note: Each Asana held at least 90 second to at least 90-seconds 3-miutes in this class.

Benefit:

  • Balance & calms the body & mind
  • Increase circulation
  • Release tension from tissue & liements
  • Healing the internal organs through meridian activation
  • Improve flexibility & mobility
  • Improve the flow of prana chi
  • Prepare you for deep meditative state

Anyone and everyone are welcome for yin yoga, that will make you experience the deeper self.

Being in the water feels so good when you’re pregnant, and there are physiological reasons why.

Water greatly reduces the usual stress on your musculoskeletal system and supports the weight of the fetus, thus taking a load off your lower back. Water also makes it easier for the heart to pump blood, reduces pregnancy-related swelling (edema) and takes pressure off your bladder.

What is the benefit of Aqua Yoga?

Aqua yoga improves flexibility, enhances the potential of joint movements, helps heal insomnia, soothes the nervous system, calms the mind, relieves stress, helps in improving the breathing pattern, reduces tiredness, aids in detoxifying the body, eases anxiety, helps in enhancing muscle strength and toning and increases blood circulation.
